Asia Pacific’s entertainment & media industry is estimated to expand on an annual average of 4.5% through 2013, rising from $331 billion in 2008 to $413 billion in 2013.

Subscription television in Asia Pacific is higher than the rest of the world combined. China and India account for 90% all pay TV subscriptions.
Imagenation Abu Dhabi and Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment Group has announced a launch of its Asian headquarters in Singapore with Media Development Authority. Both will co-produce an English-language feature and the deal includes funding for three to four films a year, with an estimated production value of US$75m over the next five years.
