Conference
The conferences for BroadcastAsia2011 attracted 363 delegates and 96 speakers over 4 days of rigorous discussions on the most recent trends and developments in the broadcasting and creative content creation industries.
For the BroadcastAsia2011 International Conference, international experts from USA, Canada, Europe and Asia significantly addressed relevant topics such as: IPTV, Hybrid TV, 3DTV, HDTV, multi-play offerings, new standards in DVB, new media models and file based workflow and asset management.
The Creative Content Production Conference provided a collaborative outlet for professionals involved in film and TV content creation and production to impart their knowledge and reveal challenges on the job. They especially highlighted the burgeoning Asian market and the increasing demand for Asian films in comparison to standard Hollywood fare, as well as branded entertainment and 3DTV content. This year also featured a specialised, informative DSLR videography workshop for film production and post-production on the final day, which proved popular. Over 2 days of presentations and panel exchanges, a more thorough understanding on the concerns surrounding content creation and production for various distribution channels was achieved.

DELEGATES' QUOTES
"Overall I thought that the event was excellent. Without doubt BroadcastAsia is quickly becoming a 'must go' event for any broadcasters, IPTV companies, and converged telcos across the whole region who are investing in new technologies and solutions, or indeed for organisations like ours who are providing those business changing solutions. Singapore is also the ideal destination, sitting as it does at the heart of Asian business, and the gateway between Asia and the rest of the world. The continued growth of Singapore as a global hub for Media is evident, plus the facilities and public transport are second to none and the whole island seems to embrace the energy of the combined shows of Broadcast and CommunicAsia." Mark Wilson-Dunn, Vice President Global Sales and Marketing, BT Media and Broadcast, United Kingdom
"It was a truly pleasant experience for me to join the Creative Content Production Conference as a speaker. Although I hoped that I could have done it better, I am happy that I was able to learn a lot from other speakers this time. I was also able to meet and think more future possibilities of Asian co-production during the conference. This whole experience inspired me a lot." Nina Jung, International Affairs Department, Seoul Film Commission
