"Fiji TV will be setting up new TV stations and are looking at purchasing new equipment such as digital broadcast cameras. With a budget of around US$2million, we are also looking for new suppliers to replace our aging equipment especially transmitters and satellites. Similar exhibitions held in Europe and the US may be bigger, but the exhibitors are often too busy to give a proper presentation. Here at BroadcastAsia and CommunicAsia, I get to hold valuable and quality meetings with exhibitors. My first trip here is definitely a very fruitful one."
Ken Clark, General Manager International, Fiji TV, Fiji Islands
Chief Executive Officer, EM TV, Papua New Guinea
"BroadcastAsia has been one of my 'must-visit' events in the past 10 years. Besides being able to find a wide range of broadcast equipment and technology, communication is much easier with the presence of Chinese speaking sales agents and the conducive business environment in Singapore. This is why I prefer to conclude my purchases at BroadcastAsia compared to exhibitions held in Western countries. I have just completed a purchase worth about $3million. I am also looking forward to visit BroadcastAsia2011 when it moves to a downtown location at Suntec Singapore."
Xu Wei, General Manager, Hai-Xia Broadcast & TV Equipment Engineering Co Ltd, China
"My company provides consultancy services and turnkey solutions for broadcasters in India. Business is looking good with India expecting about 800 new privately-run radio stations and another 800 new government-run radio stations coming up in the next 2 years. I have had very good meetings with BroadcastAsia2010 exhibitors including Crossroads, InnovAction and Harris. As I am also looking at satellite systems, I am pleased to be able to consider a quotation from MEASAT at CommunicAsia2010."
H. O. Srivastava, President, World Development Foundation, India
"Planning and development of the new RTHK broadcast centre together with DAB/DAB+ and DTT/ HDTV services, estimated to cost some HK$1.6 billion, are well underway. This trip to BroadcastAsia2010 has been timely and very productive as I could meet up with various potential equipment suppliers, service providers and industry contacts from different countries. More importantly, the exhibition with its vast and expanding range of broadcast and communications technologies being showcased has provided me with an excellent opportunity to gain further hands-on experience as well as deeper insight into the latest broadcast technologies, including tapeless production, software-based MCR systems and 3DTV."
John Yip, Chief Engineer, Radio Television Hong Kong
"BroadcastAsia has always been my top choice. Being in the post production business in the Philippines, BroadcastAsia is the most cost effective way to network with other industry peers, meet with all the top vendors and compare and evaluate all the products at the same time."
Manet A. Dayrit, Managing Director, Roadrunner, Philippines
"My visit to CommunicAsia2010 and BroadcastAsia2010 was very fruitful and the experience was excellent. I am glad to have met my objectives which were to explore the technologies specifically on 3D, HD, STB, Playout System and IPTV. Through this exhibition, I have managed to meet up with exhibitors such as Miranda, Homecast, Kaon, Omnibus and Ericsson TV."
Fajar I. Mursyid, Head of Operations, PT. Karyamegah Adijaya, Indonesia

"Compared to the last few years, the traffic at BroadcastAsia has increased dramatically. EVS has attended most trade shows, but with BroadcastAsia, we get especially good visitors from our important markets in Southeast Asia – Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines. Will Munkara-Kerr, Product and Technical Specialist, EVS, Hong Kong
"After an absence of 3 years, Grass Valley is back in this year's BroadcastAsia to assure customers and industry partners of our commitment to the region. "We have five more exhibitors participating in BroadcastAsia2010 compared to last year and we have also taken a much bigger exhibition space. The fact that we keep organising a national pavilion obviously shows that we are happy with the results of past shows. Some of the companies here have been exhibiting since the first BroadcastAsia 21 years ago, but this is the fifth consecutive year that they have come together under the Italian national pavilion."
Massimiliano P Sponzilli,Italian Trade Commissioner for Singapore, Singapore
