Sharad Sadhu is the Director of the ABU Technology. He took up the position in mid-September 2007. He joined the ABU in 1993 as a Senior Engineer in the Technical Department, handling transmission and spectrum activities. He has considerable interest in the new delivery technologies addressing handheld devices and in broadband delivery. Sharad has been instrumental in developing a strong base for the spectrum management and regulation activities in the ABU, as also in introducing mobile and ICT technologies. He has represented the Union at many international and regional conferences and events. He has more than 40 years' experience covering all areas of TV and radio broadcast engineering and in associated areas. Sharad has previously worked as Director Engineering in Doordarshan, India and as General Manager in Telecommunication Consultants India Ltd. |

Pak Lum oversees the Network Engineering and Information Services division. He is responsible for establishing StarHub’s technical vision and leading all aspects of technology development. He also looks into the strategy for technology platforms and external partnerships. Prior to joining StarHub, Pak Lum spent eight years in Pico Art International Pte Ltd and GT Communications Pte Ltd. He then moved to head 1-Net Singapore Pte Ltd. He was also appointed the CEO of the technology arm of MediaCorp Pte Ltd where he oversaw the IT, engineering and transmission support functions. Pak Lum holds a Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master in Business Administration from the University of California, USA. |

In 2005, he established "SpaceTech TV Engineering" providing technical consultation & turn-key projects implementation in the fields of radio, television and satellite broadcasting & communications.
Dr. Lubbadeh published a number of refereed papers in different scientific reviews, and authored different technical papers at IBC, ITS, Broadcast Asia, DVB and Dubai CabSat conferences. He participated in the activities of EBU & ASBU, and was selected a member of the IBC Council since 1998. |

As Director of Media, Mark is responsible for all content partnerships, working with third parties in Inview's key markets to provide applications across a broad genre video-on-demand, music-on-demand, social networking, lifestyle, news and information. Mark Rooney has spent the past 25 years in the telecom and digital TV industry. A qualified barrister with a BA and MA in law from Oxford University he worked as a journalist with BBC in Manchester before joining British Telecom to drive their content acquisition in premium rate telephony. He later headed BT sales in Manchester.
He subsequently held a General Manager position with British Aerospace's satellite division where he launched bespoke television channels and was responsible for all content delivery. He has headed up European operations for two US based companies – Terayon and Entone - and in 2001 he was appointed CEO of VDSL Systems Oy in Helsinki. For over 10 years he worked for Pace plc as General Manager, Europe Sales (1996-2000) and as Group Account Director Pace Networks (2006-2010). |

Prior to Nagra, Paul worked as a Senior Engineer at FOXTEL in Australia, originally heading the Interactive Engineering Team, and latterly as the Head of Research and Platform Architecture. In 2003, he took part in the XDCAMTM development project, where he played a crucial role in the metadata part of the product development and applied for more than forty patents of metadata related technology. In 2011, Shibata has left Sony Corp., making a trial to provide the Japan's first independent consulting service for the media and metadata technology in the M&E industry.
