BroadcastAsia2008 is held at Singapore Expo, the largest purpose built exhibition and convention centre in Southeast Asia.
Located just 5 minutes from Singapore Changi International Airport and 10 minutes from the Central Business District, Singapore Expo is easily accessible by the local train network (known as MRT in Singapore), taxis, public buses and cars.


Traveling by Train (MRT)

To get to Singapore Expo is served by its own station, Expo Station. This MRT station is located beside Hall 6 of Singapore Expo. A covered walkway connects the station to Halls 7 and 8 of Singapore Expo, providing easy access for all BroadcastAsia visitors.

If you are going to Singapore Expo from Changi Airport, take the East Bound line of the MRT (indicated as a Green Line) and alight at Expo Station . The journey takes only 4 minutes and the average frequency of trains departing from Changi Airport station is 12 minutes.

If you are going to Singapore Expo from other parts of Singapore, alight at Tanah Merah station (on the East West Line) and transfer to the train heading to Expo Station. Click here to view MRT route map.

Traveling by Taxi

Taxi stands are located at Foyer 1 (in front of Hall 1) and Foyer 2 (next to Hall 6). The taxi fare from the airport or the city is about SGD 10, subject to surcharges for electronic road pricing from Mondays to Fridays between 7.30am to 7pm (except for public holidays). A SGD 2 surcharge will be imposed for taxi leaving from Singapore Expo. You can call for taxis through the telephone numbers of the taxi companies provided below, alternatively, you may approach the taxi order terminals or help desks at Singapore Expo for assistance. Additional taxi booking surcharges will apply.

Traveling by Public Bus

Travelling by Car

Entrance to the car park is at Expo Drive, off Upper Changi Road East. Note: Car parking space is limited at Singapore Expo. All visitors are highly encouraged to take public transportation to Singapore Expo.

0700 – 1700 hours : S$2.14 for first 2 hours or part thereof

S$1.07 per subsequent half-hour or part thereof

1700 – 0700 hours : S$2.14 per entry

Car park A-H, J and service area : S$12.80 per day (minimum 4 days)
 
Cash cards and the multiple entry pass (congress or season pass) can be purchased at the Cashier Station outside Hall 5A. Top up machines are available at:
  1. Atrium between Hall 4 & 5
  2. ATM machine at Foyer 1
  3. Service area behind Halls 2 & 3 (near coach bay).
  4. Walkway of Hall 7 and Hall 9
  5. Convenience store at Foyer 2
